Acacia Necklaces

I am fundraising for my mission trip and for every $20 donation you make you receive an Acacia necklace.  These necklaces are handmade by widows and orphans in Africa.  Not only do you help me go on my mission trip but you also help by supporting the people who made the necklaces:)  Please let me know if you are interested.  I have a variety of colors available, red, yellow, black, brown, pink, green, purple and blue solid necklaces and multi colored necklaces as well.  The top picture is me wearing the bright multi and the one below is the red.  I will be happy to ship them to you for $2 extra a necklace.  Thanks!!!!

Saturday Walk on the Trails

A dream come true....

If you have read my blog for any length of time you know that I have a heart for orphans.  I have the amazing opportunity to go on a mission trip with Visiting Orphans to Ecuador this summer and am asking you to prayerfully consider supporting me in this opportunity.  The only thing holding me back from going on the trip was finances and I decided to step out in faith and let God provide:)  I am SO excited and cannot wait to go love on the precious children of Ecuador.

OUCH!

I gracefully fell over a curb on this mornings run...along one of the busiest roads I could possibly fall on!  It happened in slow motion and I couldn't stop myself:(  The worst part isn't even this it is my hand but you can't see the cuts in pictures.  I have tiny cuts in my left hand and they burn like crazy....ugh.  I am so thankful that is was during my last mile...I got up ran for a second then stopped and walked for about a tenth of a mile and ran the rest of the way home.  Oh well, I know of plenty of other runners who have fallen at some point during their running career and this was my first time...I hope it is my last!

Wedding Dress-10 years later

I was bored this afternoon and curiosity was killng me as to whether or not I could fit into my wedding dress so I took it out of the closet...unpreserved it...yikes and tried it on....well...it doesn't "fit" but I can squeeze into it...yayayayayayay!!!!
